Amba Foods is a premium quality, authentic Indian sweets and snacks proprietary business founded in 2011 in Ahmedabad and is now a franchise with eCommerce stores in Australia as well.Â
They also have multiple offline stores where people can purchase a diversified range of food products, such as syrups, mouth fresheners, pickles, and bakery items.
The project’s objective was to design and develop an e-commerce store from scratch with an updated style guide. Our team was to create a new and improved UI/UX design and handle the no-code development as well.
Besides building their online eCommerce store, our responsibility included creating the email template design and integrating shipping service providers.
→ Designing a modern, simple & functional user interface
→ Integrating tools like GTM, Active Campaign, etc
→ Setup for the store design
→ Updating the style guideÂ
→ Keeping a simple design that is easy to use
→ Working with several shades of different colors
→ The client was a little selective
→ Marketing tools integration
→ Product mockup design and placement
→ Responsiveness on mobile and iPhone devices
The result of the project was truly impressive. The design was remarkably clean and modern, perfectly aligning with current trends. The precision and placements of the product mockups couldn’t have been better.
Despite the challenges posed by working with various color shades, the client highly appreciated the final outcome, showcasing the effective resolution of these design complexities.
Based on our discovery session with Amba Foods and their team, we came up with three different style guides (all were based on a light color theme).
We went through several iterations for this project.
Finally, we settled on a design that matched the client’s expectations well. Some of its attributes include:
Upon finalizing the UX design with the client, we went ahead with its development. We were supposed to design high-fidelity wireframes for the eCommerce site consisting of 37 pages.
As always, we went ahead with the mobile-device first approach. The goal was to create a streamlined, engaging, and enjoyable design, user experience, and journey from the menu to the products.
Our design team incorporated visually striking banners that effectively captured user attention, encouraging them to explore the site some more. The overall design was excellent and was greatly appreciated by the client.
A highlight of this project was the remarkably swift delivery. The entire eCommerce project, including email templates and integrations, was completed and deployed within a mere 2 months.
