Aggregator platform for drone service providers in India

Drooyh is a drone service aggregator platform offering services in France & India backend by Yaralava Groups.

With 15+ years of combined industry experience, the company aims to provide hassle-free drone-powered solutions through our professional service partners and experts in their domains.

Project Scope

The Drooyh team reached out to us for strategy, design, and development services.

The final deliverables included brand strategy, logo design, brand collaterals, brand guidelines, and a micro website.

Goals

→ Defining brand strategy based on competitor’s analysis & user interviews
→ Designing a logo that can compete with big brands
→ Microsite to encourage partners & customers to sign up
→ Corporate pitch deck design to convince investors

Challenges

→ Completely new industry (not much data available)
→ Multiple stakeholders and users need to be interviewed
→ Achieving modern design with a raster approach
→ To be built on the AIDA concept for easy marketing

Outcomes

The results were very professional. We went ahead with a complete raster approach to build an emotional bond between vendors and customers.

The entire brand strategy (which took multiple workshops) turned out well. We drafted user personas and competitor analysis presentations.

The entire project took 8 weeks to complete from brand discovery to website deployment.

Styleguides

Based on our discovery session with the Drooyh team, we managed to come up with three different styleguides.

Although our choice was to go with the complete vector approach (for the modern look), the client decided to go for the complete raster approach.

The reason was simple, most of the customers were from the higher management who were looking for authentic & credible drone service vendors.

So, the final attributes were:

1. Blue for authenticity
2. Orange for vibrant CTA
3. Raster for emotional connection
4. Professionalism with San Serif
5. Simplicity throughout the design

Logo Design

The was a long activity. After 100s of concepts and several iterations, our team managed to meet up to the client\'s expectations.

Drooyh - logo

The final logo demonstrated the initial D, growth arrow, and a pair of drone blades. Moreover, it was added smartly at the end of the wordmark depicting direction.

Collaterals

Apart from the logo, the client required us to design some digital collateral.

This includes cover images, social media posts, visiting cards, invoices, letterheads, etc.

Apart from it, pitch deck design was an add-on activity that was included in this phase.

Guidelines

Finally, we jump to creating a brand guide that can be used by the client & other third-party vendors to maintain brand authenticity.

The following details were included in the brand guide:

1. Logo Family & Usage
2. Typography & Colors
3. Iconography & Photography

UI Design

Lastly, in the design phase, we were supposed to build high-fidelity designs with interactive prototypes for both desktop & mobile devices.

Our designers followed a mobile-first approach as 95% of visitors are from mobile.

The UX was combined with the approved styleguide.

Once we have the UX & styleguide finalized, it’s almost like a walk-in-park activity. Within three days timeline, the UI design for the site was completed.

The outcome was loved by the client.

We went ahead with the development o the WordPress CMS & deployment to AWS within a timeline of 1 week.
