Eirdoc aims to provide exceptional healthcare service with a platform that brings together patients, doctors, and pharmacies seamlessly.
Their online portal helps you to consult doctors in Ireland online and get a detailed prescription without any hassle of traveling and dedicating a lot of time.
The Eirdoc team was planning the design and development of their web portal but without proper brand guidelines, their user interface team was directionless.
So, they hired us to design their brand identity. Starting from the brand strategy to the logo, our team took care of everything including brand collaterals and guidelines.
→ Build a brand from the ground up
→ Trustworthy & friendly look
→ Detailed brand guidelines for vendors
→ Very challenging timeline
→ Convince patients to trust
→ Must showcase credibility
The final outcome was something that was credible and generates trust.
We went ahead with the dark teal color design as it provided us with a friendly but caring look.
We combined the colors with a rounded sans-serif font, raster images for trust, and dual color-filled icons for a modern look.
Based on our discovery session with the Eirdoc team, we managed to come up with three different style guides.
Both of our choices were the spicier version of the styleguide, it definitely brought credibility, trust, and friendliness to the design.
The selected styleguide had the following attribute:
1. Dark teal as accent colors
2. Rounded san serif fonts
3. Rasters for emotional connection
4. Dual color filled icons
5. Dark gradient overlay effect
6. Roundness for friendliness
Our team of designers brainstormed a lot of ideas before coming up with the final icon mark.
The final icon mark was a chat icon with a healthcare symbol added to it using the negative space.
The wordmark ‘Eirdoc’ was derived from the Organo font. Also, we used text in form of a small case for the entire wordmark.
Apart from the logo, the client required us to design physical and digital collaterals.
This includes cover images, social media posts, visiting cards, letterheads, and brand mockups.
Finally, we jump to creating a brand guide that can be used by the client & other third-party vendors to maintain brand authenticity.
The following details were included in the brand guide:
1. Brand Strategy
2. Logo Family & Usage
3. Typography & Colors
4. Iconography & Photography
5. Collaterals and Mockups
